I found a file on his computer one day whilst putting some music on, with my name and his name on it titled as OUR song playlist. It struck me as I looked at the music contained within the file, there wasn’t one single song I liked in the whole compilation, they were just songs he liked and had chosen for us. I found it to be ironic but also symbolic of the nature of our relationship; This was a file that was meant to represent the songs we shared together and loved as a couple and yet there wasn’t a single song I liked contained within it and not a single song that was in someway linked to any special moments we had shared together (as you would expect there to be).
