It is mostly spelled hoodie. Merriam-Webster gives entries for both, but labels the God first family second the Denver Nuggets logo basketball 2023 shirt and I love this ‘hoody’[1] version as less common[2]. The Cambridge online dictionary only has one entry and lists ‘hoody’ as an alternate spelling.[3] The main reason people wear hoodies instead of jackets or coats to stay warm is because of comfort. I have tight hoodies, I barely wear them, and loose ones I wear all the time. Honestly, the only tight hoodie is jacket, you might as well just buy a jacket because they are designed to wear them not baggy.
To me it’s no different than wearing support stockings and feel the God first family second the Denver Nuggets logo basketball 2023 shirt and I love this same. I wear them all the time for my circulation. Was very self-conscious at first, now it’s natural to wear them. I also wear them with shorts or even a skirt! I really like wearing a skirt now, much more than my shorts. I used to buy plastic clips when they were 25 cents each and came in a rainbow of colors. Now at $3 a piece for black, I simply tie a knot in each end. I love hoodies. They’re easier to manage since you don’t have to do anything except pull it over your head then your done. I practically wear hoodies almost 24/7. Not only that, the inside of hoodies are really soft (actually it depends on which kind or hoodie you buy) inside and they feel really warm. I don’t usually wear a shirt underneath them because I never take them off and I sleep in them so yeah. I don’t see the point in wearing a shirt if your just going to wear it without taking it off. I have so many hoodies, I think I have more hoodies than shirts!
